Travel stoRy on Tuesday takes you today to the world-famous Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg (Russia). The museum built in 1764 gathers around three million guests every year and its on TripAdvisor’s list of top 10 museums worldwide.
The museum is both one of the largest and one of the oldest museums in the world. It was created under the rule of Catherine the Great and the public has access to it since 1852. It has more than 3 million pieces of art hosted in six buildings.
Make sure not to miss it on your trip to Russia. Also, note that there is free entrance on the first Thursday of every month for everyone, while the students have free entrance all year round.
