Travel stoRy #18 – Uluru (Australia)
Travel stoRy on Tuesday takes you today in Australia, more precisely at Uluru.
The picture depicts the iconic Australian rock formation which is on UNESCO’s World Heritage Site list since 1987 as Uluṟu–Kata Tjuṯa National Park.
The monolith rises 348 meters above the ground, being placed at more than 850 meters above the sea level. Impressive for its geological features, Uluru is also important for the indigenous people of Australia, who see the rock as an energy source.
