Turn your week-end to a stoRy!™ – Discover Swedish fauna!
When cold and windy outside, you may be looking for some interesting indoor activities. Today’s recommendation goes to one of less known museums of Stockholm: Biologiska Museet on the Djurgården island. What is so special about this museum?
It is a diorama – two dimensional setting of the exhibition. Whereby Bruno Liljefors paintings of the Swedish landscape offer a perfect background for the examples of the Swedish fauna, you will find in foreground stuffed animals, at a hand reach.
The architecture of the museum is amazing, too. The exhibition halls are cylindrical, which adds an extra attraction to the museum’s visit.
