Where can I find a Starbucks?
One common question tourists asks when they are in Stockholm is: Where can I find a Starbucks? And that’s easy to understand, with the American coffeehouse chain being present in 67 countries with more than 22.500 shops.
The first Starbucks coffee shop opened in Sweden in 2010, in the fifth terminal of the Arlanda Airport, outside Stockholm. At that moment Sweden became the 53rd country of Starbucks. Now there is a Starbucks shop in Terminal 2 and in the Skybridge of Arlanda too.
But you can get your favorite coffee in the central part of the city now too! The first Starbucks opened in the city in 2013 at the Stockholm Central Station. To this one were later added other shops in: Hamngatan, Stureplan and Södermalm.
Other parts of the city have a Starbucks shop nowadays: Haninge, Häggvik, Solna – Mall of Scandinavia and Täby Centrum. The good news is that a new shop will open in 2016 in the central part of Stockholm in: MOOD Stockholm!
What about other Swedish cities? Starbucks already exists in Göteborg – Centralstation, Malmö – Centralstation, Uppsala – Gränby Centrum and soon in Västerås.
After the first shop in 2010 in Sweden Starbucks will have at the end of this year 12 shops in Stockholm and other 4 shops across the country. Now you know where you can get your Starbucks!
