Like many other countries, Sweden has a national theatre. It is Kungliga Dramatiska Teatern in Stockholm, founded in the 18th century by the King Gustav III. Would you believe that he himself set seven of his plays on the stage? No wonder he is often referred to as “ the theatre king”.
